Real estate wasn't an industry I just jumped into and expected to make quick money so I got a license. Real estate has been in my thoughts since I was about 10 years old wanting to build my own hotel, so I would make a scrapbook with different interior design themes and exterior looks of what I would want my future hotel to look like. Once I got into college my whole mindset changed to helping students and low-income families. Watching my little sister's college go through the effects of students living in their cars and at my school Texas State, over 500 kids were living out of cars, couch surfing, and or living out of hotels due to no availability on campus, apartments leases to high, and most importantly apartment complex not finish being built. I knew I wanted to help students in the future by buying and building a duplex for those who struggle not worrying how much they can afford for rent. That's what led me to being a real estate agent getting my foot in the door and learning all sides of this industry to help in the future.
